Quality

The Maastank management believes that the continuous aim to achieve quality objectives is imperative to maintain a quality organisation. As a resource to obtain the set objectives, the management has introduced a quality management system that complies with ISO 22000:2005 requirements, Cert ID, GMP+, Skal and Kosher regulations.

The MAASTANK BV management declares that:

  • an adequate quality policy is necessary to (continuously) ensure the product safety for people, animals and the environment;

  • all steps necessary will be taken to ensure that both the product conditions and the products produced under their management will at all times comply with the imposed legislation and regulations, as well as the customers' demands, including Cert ID;

  • it is aware of the fact that careful quality assurance is essential to prevent calamities, and consequently, to prevent damaging consequences for customers and chain companies;

  • it takes responsibility to ensure an optimum interpretation and implementation of the quality policy by setting up conditions for an optimum performance of the necessary work, and giving quality conscious thinking and acting of all the employes involved top priority;

  • it is aware that legal liability may apply;

  • a QSE coordinator has been appointed to supervise that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the GMP regulation animal feed sector quality policy. The QSE coordinator is authorized to - in consultation with the management - take measures which other employees must adhere to that will ensure the necessary quality measures in order to prevent or eliminate possible deficiencies; 

  • it will ensure that all involved employees are familiar with the objective of the quality policy and content of the quality assurance of the company, and will adopt a quality conscious attitude;

  • it will take full responsibility to take action(s) that comply with the laws and regulations in force when the products supplied do not meet the stipulations of the GMP regulation - in spite of all the preventative measures undertaken.

Maastank BV carries out all its operations exclusively on the Votob General Conditions for Tankstorage in the Netherlands (Available on request), unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.
